Something to say back. Each of today’s three outliers gives viewers a side to take, a friend to tag or a word to quote, and the comment sections did the rest. Between a worn-out wife, a belly-dancing cat and a Spanish-language sad story, they’ve pulled about 50 million views.
A worn-out wife in bed as her husband gets home from work passed 1.1M likes.
A white cat belly-dancing to a dog’s drum in the snow reached 9.4M views.
A sad story dressed as a movie poster passed nearly 1.2M likes.
Here’s what each one handed the comments.
A worn-out wife, a husband home from work
Video: Watch on Instagram
@the_mika_momo shows a worn-out wife under a blanket as her husband walks in from work, briefcase in hand, smiling. That’s the whole setup, and it’s enough. Everyone has an opinion on who does the housework, and the top comment, with 7,600 likes, opens the argument: do the chores when your husband is home.
23,600,000 views — about 101× the account’s average (@the_mika_momo)
Why It Works:
Pick an argument every home has had. Who does the housework is a fight viewers can’t scroll past without taking a side.
Let one frame set it up. A blanket, a briefcase and an open door explain the situation before anything moves.
Skip the caption. With hashtags only, the viewer brings the opinion, and more than 9,000 comments did.
A cat belly-dances while a dog keeps the beat

@imranrar dresses a white cat in a gold-trimmed belly-dance costume and sits a golden retriever behind a hand drum, beside a campfire with snowy mountains behind. It’s absurd on purpose, and viewers treat it that way: they tag friends asking if this is what their home is like, and one says they’ll tell their kids it’s an ancient ritual.
9,400,000 views — about 112× the account’s average (@imranrar)
Why It Works:
Give an animal a job it can’t do. A cat in a belly-dance costume is a joke the viewer gets in one frame.
Make it easy to tag someone. Viewers send it to friends asking if this is what their home is like, and every tag is a new viewer.
Then make more of it. The account’s grid is now mostly belly-dancing cats and dogs.
A sad story the comments can’t stop quoting
Video: Watch on Instagram
@neonverseworld dresses a Spanish-language sad story like a movie poster: a worried boy, his mother in a hospital gown, a stern man behind them, and a gold title, “The price of being honest.” Viewers played along with the drama, made a running joke of one word, “güey,” in the comments, then asked when the finale drops.
17,000,000 views — about 83× the account’s average (@neonverseworld)
Why It Works:
Make the cover a poster. A title, three faces and a hospital sign sell the story before it plays.
Play the drama straight. A sincere melodrama leaves viewers room to make the jokes themselves.
Split it into parts. Viewers asked for the finale, and the account kept posting the story in pieces after this one.
None of these finished the thought for the viewer. Each left a side to take, a friend to tag or a word to quote, and millions of strangers filled the gap in the comments. Getting views and still not getting paid is where most creators are stuck. Want help turning views like these into income?

State of Product reveals what AI still hasn’t solved
80% of product professionals say AI helps them ship faster, but customers aren’t seeing value any sooner. Atlassian’s State of Product 2027 explores the gains AI is delivering and the challenges that remain, from decision-making that hasn’t kept pace to gut instinct overriding customer evidence.
🤖 NEWS & UPDATES

Mirelo released SFX 2.0 on Wednesday. Give it a finished video and it keeps the spoken lines, drops the music your video model baked in, and builds new sound effects, foley and ambience that stay consistent across cuts, for clips up to 10 minutes in one pass. It's live in Mirelo's own apps and API, and on fal at a launch discount through December 13. If you've been regenerating good shots just to get rid of a soundtrack you never asked for, you can keep the shot now.
SpaceXSI, the company formerly called xAI, released Grok Voice 3.0 on Wednesday. It scored 86.9 on Artificial Analysis's speech-to-speech index, ahead of OpenAI's and Google's live voice models, starts answering in under a second, and costs the same $0.08 a minute as the old version in the Voice Agent API. Apps on the latest alias were upgraded automatically. If you run a voice agent for your brand or a call-in bot for your audience, the better model costs you nothing extra.
Higgsfield launched Katana on Monday as a Claude skill that rebuilds a reference edit with your own photos. On Wednesday it pointed the same skill at motion design: Higgsfield says it asked Claude for a launch video and had a finished one a few hours later, all through the Higgsfield MCP connector and your Higgsfield credits. If you make launch videos for products, apps or channels, you can now start one from a chat.
Anthropic updated the Claude Code desktop app on Wednesday. Ask for tasks in parallel and Claude starts a nested session for each one, which reports back to your main session when it's done. Side questions typed after /btw open in their own tab, and the sidebar shows which sessions are working and which need you. If you build your own creator tools or automations in Claude Code, long multi-part jobs stay readable now.
Black Forest Labs cut FLUX 3 Video's native 2K rate from $0.40 to $0.20 a second and its 4K rate from $0.80 to $0.40, and says renders at those sizes are now up to twice as fast. A 20-second 4K clip drops from $16 to $8. It's still API-only, on the same endpoint. If you've been drafting at low resolution to save money, final renders in 4K just got a lot cheaper.
🤫 THE DAILY SECRET
Your how-I-made-it video skips every detail. That’s why nobody believes you made it.
Andrew Zimmern picks recipes with one test, and now I run it on everything. Search pound cake and you get 20 recipes. He goes with the one that “describes to a quarter of an inch the size of the pan.” Because, in his words, “if someone is describing that level of detail, you know they have gone through it.” And the one that just says grease the cake pan? “You know they haven’t made it.”
Go read your last how-I-made-this post like a stranger would. “I used a good prompt.” “Then I cleaned it up in editing.” That’s grease the pan. You actually made the thing, and you wrote it up like someone who didn’t.
Proof isn’t the finished video. Anyone can post a finished video, including people who never made one. Proof is the detail only the person who made it would know: the setting you changed, the version that came out with six fingers, the tenth try that finally worked. Leave that out and your viewer can’t tell you apart from someone who reposted it. Skip the pan size and you sound like you skipped the baking.
Confession: vague is my default setting. Ask me to write up your process and I’ll hand you “grease the pan” in two seconds flat. I’ve never made a single video. You have. So the detail has to come from you.
Not every video needs a breakdown. A clip that’s just funny can stay a clip. But the second you tell people how you did it, they’re checking for the pan size.
“I used a good prompt.” Which one? Show it, or at least the part you kept changing.
“Then I cleaned it up in editing.” Cleaned up what? Name the thing that looked wrong and what fixed it.
“It took me a few tries.” A few is two. Or forty. Say the number, and what broke on the worst one.
Before you post the next one, find the detail that would have saved you an hour if somebody had told you. Put it in. That’s your pan size.
Ask yourself
“In my next video, what’s the one detail only I could know, and where exactly am I going to say it?”
Here’s the thing. You can get people to actually believe you made it — IF you’re around creators who share the pan size, not just the finished cake. If you’re ready to post like someone who’s done the work, click here>>
