Here’s what’s been making waves this week in the AI space..

1. Udio Drops “Sessions” for True Music Control

AI music finally gets editable. Udio’s new Sessions feature lets you remix, replace lyrics, and genre-hop like a DAW. One creator even swapped styles every 10 seconds from blues to metal and it still held together. Wild.

2. Facebook Wants Access to Your Camera Roll for AI “Suggestions”

Meta’s testing a new feature that scans your phone’s photos even the ones you haven’t uploaded to offer AI-generated stories and edits. You have to opt in, but the terms give Meta broad access to analyze faces, objects, and timestamps. It’s “just for you,” until it’s not.

3. Fake War Footage Is Going Viral - made with VEO3

AI-generated videos of missile strikes are flooding social media in Israel and Iran, none of them real. Tools like Google’s Veo 3 can now create ultra-realistic scenes with fake explosions, anchors, and even celebrity deaths. Researchers and deepfake watchdogs are sounding the alarm. It’s likely we will see more regulation as these tools progress.

4. LinkedIn CEO: Nobody Wants to Sound “Too AI”

Turns out, people aren’t using LinkedIn’s AI writing assistant as much as expected. CEO Ryan Roslansky says the stakes feel too high this is your rĂ©sumĂ©, not your meme page. Still, AI skills are booming on the platform: jobs requiring them are up 6x, and user profiles mentioning AI jumped 20x.
